With a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, Wally brings to the table close to 15 years of experience in working with adolescents and their families in both educational and clinical settings.

For fun, Wally enjoys reading the newspaper (yes the physical print copy) in the morning, going for runs and playing beach volleyball on the weekends. With a true love for people, Wally invests much of his time in relationships with friends, family and colleagues at work.

Philosophy

Life can be challenging at times. There is no doubt about it and whether you are a working professional, professional parent or full time student, when life happens, there may not always be an easy solution. With that being said, even when we are at our lowest of lows, I truly believe that all people carry value and that there is a path forward.

What does that path forward look like? Will it be safe? Paraphrasing from C.S. Lewis's book The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Susan asks one of the characters if Aslan the Lion is safe and he responds, "Course he isn't safe. But he's good."

You see, the path forward is different for everyone, and it certainly will not always feel safe. It may actually feel painful at times. But in the end, that path forward is good. As a trusted traveler, I have walked forward with many into the unknown and come out on the other end healthier from the journey. If you have a journey ahead of you, I would love for you to walk forward with me.
